Applied Business is a practical based subject aimed at giving students real experiences in the real business.  With a focus on practical tasks, students are encouraged to develop their business ideas and entrepreneurial skills.

In the AS year they have to complete one examination “Investigating People at Work” and two pieces of coursework, a business plan and the marketing of a product or service.

The GCSE students are involved in learning via practical skills and these include completing business forms, understanding financial documents and the basics of how and why businesses set themselves aims and objectives.
